Religious evidence
For religious claims, we prefer the Quran, authenticated hadith, and identifiable qualified scholarly sources. A quotation must be checked in context. Hadith references include the collection, reference number, and grading where relevant.
Language and everyday use
Meaning and grammar need suitable language references. Conversational examples are labelled as examples. Regional wording is identified as cultural rather than presented as universal Muslim practice.
Traceable claims
Each source lists what it does and doesn’t support. A source for an expression’s occurrence does not automatically support a recommended response or a ruling. Unresolved questions remain marked in the article body.
